Delia is a superbly bred Andalusian mare by the sensational dressage stallion Gaucho III (by Panadero VIII), who competed to international acclaim. Prior to being imported to the United States in 1998, Gaucho was on the Spanish Olympic Dressage Training Team with Juan Matute. (Video of Gaucho III at 7 Years Old). His gaits are world class, and with owner Jane Rumbough he won either 1st or 2nd placings in his first 3 Grand Prix Competitions before an unfortunate accident ended his competitive career. Gaucho III is half brother to Invasor II, who placed 7th in Dressage Individual Grand Prix, 8th in Grand Prix Freestyle, and 12th in Grand Prix Special during the Athens Olympics in 2004. |

Delia's dam Fogonera is out of Caracola XII, who was also sired by Panadero VIII, thus doubling the strength of the extraordinary movement and presence within Delia's pedigree.

Delia is confirmed in foal to INVASOR III (by EVENTO) for a 2010 foal. Invasor III is an imported revised PRE stallion. He was a multiple winner in PRE morphology in Holland and Belgium from 2001-2004, with scores of 82 + %, and was twice year end PRE/Baroque Dressage Champion. He is a son of EVENTO - Olympic Dressage Competitor in 1996, and 3/4 brother to Spanish Dressage Team horse DISTINGUITO, ridden to numerous wins by Ingacis Ramblas during the 2002/2003 European Championships that qualified Spain for the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Invasor III returned to Spain just days after Delia was bred, making his bloodlines all the more valuable in North America.
