Gestora was bred in Spain and imported to North America. She comes from classic Foundation stock, with mainly Yeguada Militar (military stud) bloodlines including top stallions Agente and Jenson (twice). Agente in particular has been described as "pivotal" in the evolution of movement in the Spanish horse. His offspring expressed a notably elastic movement that carried through the line and laid the foundation of the Spanish horse's success in dressage. In addition to her champion bloodlines, Gestora has a wonderful temperament - very sweet and calm. When bred to Alano she throws size, excellent uphill movement and that lovely temperament inherited from both parents.
